Due to the limited supply of the vaccines, the Department of Health (DOH) issued the prioritization framework for COVID-19 vaccination. The slots for vaccines are allotted based on a person’s sector or population group. DOH said that the prioritization is needed to reduce mortality and to preserve the health system capacity of the country.
